Linux Release Notes

Hi, I'm using Teamviewer 14.6.13 on opensSuse Tumbleweed.

First of all, let me say THANK YOU for updating (at last!) the linux zypper repository.

I'd like to point out that presently (and it has been so for months) the "Release notes" menu choice points to this url:

https://community.teamviewer.com/t5/Linux/Update-14-1-3399-TeamViewer-14/m-p/46523#M2644

which is badly outdated.

I think it should instead point to:

https://community.teamviewer.com/t5/forums/filteredbylabelpage/board-id/Change_Logs_EN/label-name/linux

where Linux users can find more up-to-date information.

Thank you
Cris

The latest version listed on TeamViewer download page for Linux is 14.5.5819.

Strange, but my Fedora 30 is asking me to update also to 14.6.13. So which one is latest or maybe this 14.6.xx is some kind of insider preview?

  • Thanks, @Esther. So, what version am I actually running if I've updated and the About window is showing 14.6.13? This is on CentOS 7.6.

    Hi @sethgoldin

    Thanks a lot.

    I edited my reply above:

"Sorry for the confusion! I was talking to @DanielStm and what some of you see is indeed the preview for 14.6. Things will be back to normal for RPM users once the regular 14.6 release will be out. Once again sorry for a whole series of misunderstandings!"

    Mea culpa,

    Esther
