RPi Crashes Instantly on TeamViewer Connection

Greetings,
I've installed the latest version of TeamViewer (13.0.5641 H) on an Rasberry Pi 3 with a fresh image of Raspbian Stretch (4.9.41-v7) that has all current OS updates.
The instant I connect to the RPi from another machine with TeamViewer the RPi crashes and reboots. I am able to see the RPi desktop on the remote machine (so some connection was positively established) although it's immediately frozen as the RPi drops off and reboots.
The same thing happens with different (identical) RPi 3 units and Raspbian images and the internet connections are otherwise stable and functional.
What can you advise on troubleshooting?
