TeamViewer halts on Linux Ubuntu 16.04

after installing the Ubuntu gui on Ubuntu server (to make it Ubuntu desktop), when i login with TeamViewer the screen freezes after login and the session closes.

 

i have tried installing the GPU driver and it did not resove the issue, this is what i get in the log file :
