Teamviewer opens and closes immediately

in Linux only

I am using the newest version of Teamviewer on Ubuntu 18.04. As soon as I open it, it immediately closes. 

To fix it, I have installed and reinstalled, and even tried installing older versions (14,13,12). Only 12 is able to open properly but then I have to install 12 on all computers which is a hassle. 

 

Please let me know if you have any solutions.

    This is abnormal behavior.

    Did you install it from the official website or from the Linux repo?

    Normally it should be installed and running flawlessly.
