Unable to connect to CentOS Teamviewer

Hi,

I am unable to connect to my CentOS based system running with Team Viewer. Funnily, I am able to connect to other machines on Team Viewer using that same CentOS machine, but inbound TeamViewer connections to that CentOS machine are not succeeding. When trying to connect to the CentOS machine, I receive the error "Unable to connect, reason unknown".

This is not a network issue on my end, since I'm able to connect to Windows based Team Viewer machines.

Re: Unable to connect to CentOS Teamviewer

Dear abhisheksha,

Thank you for your post.

Sounds like TeamViewer is not able to grab the session.

Some reasons for that can be TeamViewer was started on a virtual X session (They are not supported).

Have you tried to restart the TeamViewer service on your CentOS 7 Box?

To do so, please run the following command.

sudo teamviewer daemon restart

Hope this solution works for you.

Best regards,

Christian

Re: Unable to connect to CentOS Teamviewer

Unfortunately, that did not help. I restarted the CentOS machine also.
