blinking screen in linux mint remote

When I try to remote into my linux mint laptop, it connects just fine from windows 10 BUT, the screen is totally unusable.

I also can't seem to login from laptop using the "contacts login" screen as it says I don't have an account although clearly I do.

    Looking in this post date, it seems this has not been fixed.


    Anything on this?

    Same problem when i connect from any Windows PC to my Linux Mint "Vanessa". The remote screen is flickering and laggy. Use the latest TV Client and Host.
