how to change and/or show teamviewer password remotely over ssh without GUI?

For some reasons my teamviewer password does not work anylonger. I cannot change by GUI because of resolution problems in my rasperry and **Third Party Product** (650x....).

I know that i get the id by /usr/bin/teamviewer -info - but is there a way to get also the password i have choosen? OR is there a possibility to change the password by console/terminal?

I have tried teamviewer -password <mypassword> which says afterwards OK while changing but i cannot connect with this credentials.

I can use the password created by random without problems but i want my default one.

    Let's check if your ID is not switching when you're changing the password.

    When you do the passwd command it should stay with no problem.

    please run the following commands

    teamviewer info
    sudo teamviewer passwd [password]
    teamviewer info

    Please verify that TeamViewer info always show the same ID

    Let's us know the result so we can determine a solution for you.

    After executing the commands @ChristianCay , I am seeing there Teamviewer License Agreement, which is hindering the connection. How to Accept it from ssh terminal.

    Hi, 

    I did what you suggested, but this does not answer the question was asked.

    assuming ID remains the same, 
    How can one obtain the password via ssh?

    Hey @shailusuriyal,

     

    You can accept it when running "teamviewer setup" in a terminal.

    Alternatively, you can accept them manually by adding "[int32] EulaAccepted = 1" into /etc/teamviewer/global.conf

    I have the same problem. It is impossible to change the password by console/terminal on command line. The commands you provided do not show the actual password. The only way to know the password is to have a GUI/Desktop Display. When switching to Command Line Display it is impossible to set or get the password.
