Connecting with Android device with Screen Lock

I recently acivated Screen Lock on my Droid Turbo(Android 6.0.1). This is the device that I normally connect to my home Windows 7 PC with using Teamviewer 12.0.77242(free). Since activating Screen Lock, I can connect and see my PC's screen on the Droid, but I have no mouse control at all. I have confirmed that if I disable Screen Lock on the Droid, I can then use my remote mouse normally.
