Mouse Clicks Not Working Android to MacOS

I'm using my Android phone to log into my Mac, both have the most recent version of Teamviewer installed. I am able to login to the Mac just fine, I can see the display and if I use the Mac's mouse I can see changes. However, I am unable to click with the mouse on the android app to control the mac. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Are there any fixes?

Things I have tried:
- Reinstalled both apps
- Checked the remote login and security settings on the mac
- Removed and re-added the mac credentials and login credentials on both devices

Nothing seems to have worked.
