windows client to android - device supports screen sharing only

Hi there, I am doing remote control of android phones from my windows client.
The same android device (Samsung Galaxy s7) I had a beta OS v 8.1 installed on allowed remote control, since formatting it and going back to stable v7.1 OS only allows screen sharing.

The device is rooted and all other security blocks from developer options and privacy and security settings in the phone have been disbaled.

Please help me get full remote access.

Thank you for your time and effort.

    Hello @JayBass

    Thank you for your message.

With Android 7.x, the remote control should work fine, as the minimum requirement is Android 4.3

Have you tried to activate Knox on your Samsung device and check if it works after that?

I hope this could help. If not, do not hesitate to ask your questions here.

    Cheers,

    Jean

  • Hi Jeank,

I have the same question. that cannot remote control my Lenovo tablet TB - X605.

Coz I am a free user, I cannot remote control my tablet even it is in the support list.  right?

Do I have to buy mobile devices support before using remote control features?

Any other ways to try this feature before purchase.

    thanks in advance.

    Hello @MorrisTW

    Thank you for your message.

Lenovo is in the list, indeed. However, it does not mean that there is an add-on for the exact model you have.

If you are a private user, you do not need a mobile device support license.

    Cheers,

    Jean
