This article applies to all customers with a Pilot license

License activation of 1 Pilot technician

Please follow these steps to activate one Pilot technician:

  1. Please order an update to your existing license or buy a new license in our webshop
  2. You will receive an order confirmation e-mail from TeamViewer Accounting
  3. Please click Get me started in the e-mail to activate your license on your TeamViewer account. You will be re-directed to the Account Sign-in page.
  4. Please click Get started with your existing TeamViewer account or please create a TeamViewer new account by clicking Create an account nowNew activation EN.PNG
  5.  As soon as you are logged in, your licence will be activated. You will see a green confirmation PopUp. Now, you can start using your licence.01_Confirmation_Activation.png

Activation of 2 or more Pilot technicians 

Necessary steps: 

In order to activate a Pilot license for 2 or more Pilot technicians, you will need:

  1. A TeamViewer account.

    Note: If you do not have a TeamViewer account yet, please follow these steps first: How to create a TeamViewer account (Video tutorial)  

  2. A Company profile in your Management Console.

    Note: If you do not have a Company profile, please read this article first: How to create your company profile

    Hint: The creation of a company profile is only possible with a Premium, Corporate or Tensor plan.

  3. The users (where the licence will be activated) have to be part of the company profile.

    Note: If the users are not members of the company profile yet, please follow the steps explained here: Add users to your Company Profile

Once you have a TeamViewer account, a company profile with the users added as members of your company profile, the activation can begin.

Hint: Please remember to check if you have these first 3 requirements before continuing.

How to assign your Pilot technicians

    1. Please order an update to your existing license or buy a new license in our webshop
    2. You will receive an order confirmation e-mail from TeamViewer Accounting
    3. Please click Get me started in the e-mail to activate your license on your TeamViewer account. You will be re-directed to the Account Sign-in page.
    4. Please click Get started with your existing TeamViewer account New activation EN.PNG
    5. Once you click on Get started your licenses are activated, you will be logged into your Management Console and the next step is to assign the licenses to the technicians/user.
    6. Please click into the upper right corner, into your user name --> Administer [companyNAME].00_MCO_Profile.png

       

      6. The administration of your company (in this case MyCompany) will appear in a PopUp. In the General tab of the PopUp, go to your Licence Pilot Subscription and edit the settings.03_MCO_AdministrationGROUP_Edit.jpg

       

    7. Once Edit is clicked, a new PopUp will appear with the current assigned user(s)/technician(s). To assign a further Pilot techician to (a) new user(s)/technician(s), please click on Add.05_MCO_AdministrationGROUP_Select_AssignedUSER.jpg

       

    8. Select the user(s)/technician(s) that should have a Pilot technician assigned to the account, confirm by clicking on Add and then Save the changes.
    9. After making the changes the assigned Pilot technicians out of the total available Pilot technicians will be displayed under the Details column of your Pilot license.

      Once the Save button is clicked, your licenses are assigned and ready to be used.
