Change sides with partner grayed out

I'm using the non-commercial (free) version of TeamViewer (v14).  For some reason, I'm no longer able to switch sides with partner, enabling them to see my desktop.  Not sure if this is coincidental with upgrade to v14 or not.  Any help would be appreciated.
