I'm working on converting an application. The exisitng application is on a VM with Teamviewer on it.
For a while, I was able to connect to it just fine. However, this week whenever I connect, I keep this error message:

I was running version 14. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling version 12. That didn't work. I got another machine that wasn't running TV and installed version 12 and I'm still getting an error. The IT guy at the other company doesn't want to upgrade to

Hi @brettdavis4 ,
Thank you for your post.
Do you have a license in a certain version that you use or are you a free user?
If you are a free user - we’re asking our free users with older versions of TeamViewer to update to the latest version in order to continue using the software. The latest version is currently TeamViewer 14 (on both sides).
If you have a license for a certain version - please downgrade all your software to the respective version.
Hope this will be helpful.
Best regards,
Yuri

Hello Yuri,
I'm using the free version. The machine that I'm trying to connect to is currently using a licensed version of TeamViewer 12.
Do I need to have a license to get away from this issue?
Thanks,
Brett
