How do you transfer ownership of a group to another user

The person who set up the group of computers that we log into has left the company. I am an admin for the license, but I cannot share the group I am using with a new user. I get the message that I cannot share the group because I am not the owner of the group.

I am trying to pre-empt this by hsaring it before I leave. and am running into hurdles all the time. I have given them full control but I want to make sure that means ownership.
