Hi,

We have a new software vendor on site who also use teamviewer. What we would like to do is the following;

Push out to all machine to turn on the "Random password".
Have Teamviewer ALWAYS generate a new password with out asking the user to click generate or wait for the clock to tick down, when the vendor disconnects.

Any advice appreciated? I know we can do it by walking round to every PC on site, just being lazy

Cheers

    Hello @Peedee

    Thank you for your message.

    The best to push settings on your devices is to apply a TeamViewer policy.

    The parameter you will need to add to your policy is the following:

    • Random password after each session
      • Value: Generate new and Enforce

    Then, apply this policy to your device and they will all have this setting pushed. On top of that, the users won't be able to change this setting (thanks to the Enforce value).

    You will find all the information you need in our Knowledge Base article here: How to add a new settings policy

    I hope this could help. If not, do not hesitate to ask your questions here.

    Cheers,

    Jean
