Remote printer cannot print, have specific log file messages
Hello, I've searched far and wide (as a skilled IT pro) for similar problems and tried lots of combinations of printers (virtual and real, TCP/IP RAW and Web Services), printer drivers, and multiple OS restarts. Nothing will print from a remote TeamViewer 10 client to a local TeamViewer10 host. I've never seen anyone post the relevant log file, so here goes. I've tried changing the printer driver to TeamViewer_PSDriver instead, as well as changing the Print Processor to RAW or EMF 1.001 or EMF 1.008.
Certainly all the printers DO show up on the remote side "...via TeamViewer" and when I print a large file, clearly it's being spooled over the TV connection, after which the local side is unable to relay the job as shown in the log.
Error 1804 from Microsoft Developer Reference: ERROR_INVALID_DATATYPE 1804 (0x70C) The specified datatype is invalid.
I get this error every time. If I escalate to an Enterprise Support Ticket, will they just tell me to upgrade to 12? Because my customer also needs to connect to a whole network of TeamViewer 10's we cannot switch.
OS is fully updated Win10 on both sides.
