Take control on Win10 in S mode

Hi there !

I couldn't find anywhere any similar question.. so, let me start :

I must deploy a tiny computer, in a shop far away, and I will sometime need to take control with my TeamViewer Licence.

FYI, Windows 10 in S mode only allows you to install apps from the store..nothing else.

So, I download the only app available "TeamViewer Remote Control", but, from it, I'm only able to take control of another device, not to let someone else (me) take control of if..

One solution would be to quit S mode, but I don't want to do it yet.

Any sugestion ?

Thanks :)

Regards, Sylvain

Re: Take control on Win10 in S mode

Dear Roger79,

Thank you for your message.

For the moment, there is no TeamViewer solution which has benn developed for receiving connections with Windows S. I cannot promise you anything, but our development team works hard to guarantee a very flexible product. Maybe it will be possible in the future.

I thank you in advance for your understanding.

Cheers

Re: Take control on Win10 in S mode

Hi @JeanK , I just wanted to see if there was any update on this? I'm looking to remote control my dad's Windows in S mode computer (overall I think he's much safer in s mode despite its other drawbacks) from my mac.

Re: Take control on Win10 in S mode

Hello @hgerm

Thank you for your message.

Unfortunately, there is no update regarding this for the moment.

If one day, unattended access is available for Windows S, it will be explicitly written in the description of the software here: TeamViewer for Windows S.

I thank you in advance for your understanding.

Cheers,

Jean
