Teamviewer not running on remote computer or is it?

Frequently I get the "Not running on remote computer" message when trying to connect to my remote computer.  However, 15 - 30 minutes later, I can connect with no problem, with no intervention on the remote computer at all.  I dont understand why this is and if I have something wrong in my setup.  I am using Teamviewer 13 and Easy Access on all my computers and it usually has no issues at all.  Can anyone explain what might be causing this?
