What is visible on remote monitor?

Hi all, I've got teamviewer installed on my office and home PC and I use it to connect to my office network when I work from home. 

I know that when I connect to my office network from home, if the monitor in my office PC has not been switched off, the monitor will display everything that I am doing remotely.

I wanted to know whether the monitor in the office will only display acitvities from the teamviewer window or any application on my home PC. e.g. Lets suppose I have TeamViewer and MS Word running on my home PC. When teamviewer is active the monitor in the office displays whathever I'm doing within teamviewer. However on my home PC if I switch to MS Word will the office PC now display what I am doing within MS Word ?
