installation problems, dies after installation and it thinks I am reinstalling 13 instead of 11

I installed teamviewer 11 a while back. A couple months ago got a message to upgrade to 13. Since then I have had intermittant issues - not serious just rebooted and then OK. Yesterday it starting dying immediately after starting computer. TEAMVIEWER SEVICE is still running after it dies. I deinstalled and attempted to re-install 11 but dies while reporting it has 13.
