Cannot connect via Teamviewer QS when end user has version 12 installed

Hi

We are licensed to use Teamviewer 6.  When connecting to client PC's, we ask them to use TeamViewerQS, which we send them.  This usually works okay, apart from when the client has a newer, full version of TeamViewer installed (such as version 12).  Even though they are running TeamViewerQS, they still appear to get the version 12 ID and password (with numbers and characters in it), and I get the message saying 'your partner has a newer version of TeamViewer do you want to upgrade?'

Obviously, I don't want to upgrade because I'm only licensed to use version 6.  The only thing I can think of doing is getting the client to uninstall their newer version of TeamViewer.  If they then run TeamViewerQS will they get an ID and password that will be compatible with my TeamViewer6?

Any advice appreciated.
