I'm trying to accesss a legacy computer running Windows NT 4.0 SP6A. This >>> https://community.teamviewer.com/t5/Knowledge-Base/Compatibility-with-older-operating-systems/ta-p/4661 << KB post indicates I should use version 6. I find that I am unable to install this version and I can't even get an indication that the installer is trying to run.

I copied the installer for V5, 6 & 7 to the Win NT computer and used the "Quick View" feature in NTExplorer to examine the installer binaries for each. The results suggest that the V6 installer is corrupt (see following images). Could someone confirm this for me and perhaps poit nme to a working V6 installer?

Thanks!

  • Did you ever get a un corrupt copy of teamviewer 6 or teamviewer 6 host? I'm trying to do the same thing and the download from their website is corrupt.
