Entered teamviewer id does not exist.

As a client, I have entered exactly the ID from the Host PC. When i try to connect to the host - i receive immediately (since yesterday) the message "entered TeamViewer ID does not exist". It worked for 3 years. What could be the reason?

  • Fortunately I had someone on the other end who was able to check some things for me.  It turns out that the ID for the system changed.  It is supposed to never change.  It was the same for 3+ years and now is completely different.  With the new ID I was able to connect immediately.  The password was still the same.

    Anybody knows why lately the teamviewer ID is changing? I have many pc around the world and I am losing the ability to connect for remote assistance....it is very annoying and I cannot recover the new ID easily. Is this a limit of the teamviewer servers?
