Remote printing in TV 11

I use TeamViewer 11 to help my father with his home computer. I had it setup so that I could remote print to a HP Laserjet at my house.  Recently the printer died. I purchased a new HP Officejet Pro 6970 printer and can not get it to work.

I went through this document

I uninstalled the printer driver on both sides, restarted both computers and reinstalled the printer driver on both computers. When I remote connect to my dad's home... click on activate remote printing and try to print.  I do see the HP Officejet Pro 6970 via Teamviewer driver. Nothing happens.. no error message and nothing is passed to the print queue on my computer.

Any ideas?  Please and thank you.

    Thanks for your post.

    I recommend updating your TeamViewer from version 11 to the latest version.

    We introduced the support for HP printers with TeamViewer 13 and do not support remote printing via HP printers with TeamViewer 11.
