Broke, connection issues

I'm trying here before fully giving up on TeamViewer...

I've already Uninstalled/Reinstalled a few times.

TeamViewer (new laptop, newest version of TV) shows "Not read. Please check your connection" and pops up the 'could be a proxy setting' message. It does this for an extended period - 5 minutes, hours, however long.

I also cannot type an email in to the login screen, only a password. This happens for about the same period of time. Once I finally *can* type in a login, and click "Sign In", usually nothing happens. I can keep clicking it, but that doesn't do any good.

A few days ago, it actually logged in once or twice and showed my the machines in my account. But, I couldn't connect to any of them. I tried, it gave some connection error, then went back to being disconnected again.

As for the links for 'releated issues'....

I have disabled windows firewall, still will not connect.

I am not running my own router, so nothing to configure there.

I have tried using TeamViewer on both my ATT phone hotspot (I can log in using the TeamViewer android app on the phone running the hotspot), and the RV park internet where I am located, neither of which work.
