TeamViewer Ghosting and Flashing

Hello,
We use TeamViewer host on a Windows 7 X64 client; I have connected to the PC via a Windows 10 1803 X64 client and when I disconnected from the host PC, there is a ghost of my Desktop when I was connected to TeamViewer and the ghosted image of the Desktop is also flashing rapidly (seizure inducing).
I have tried stopping all TeamViewer processes and restarting the PC but the ghosted image of the Desktop is still on the PCs physical screen. When I stopped all the TeamViewer processes the screen started to flash more rapidly than what it did before.
I did take a video recording, however, on the video you can't even tell that it is flashing and you can't see the ghosted image.
Can you help with this please?
