Unable to connect to Surface Pro

Hi,

We have a user who is trying to get a third party IT support to log in to their laptop to troubleshoot some software, they have noted that when trying to connect via Team Viewer the green icon at the bottom says Ready to Connect, then flashes yellow saying 'Connecting to Partner...' for a brief second and goes back to green without prompting for a password.

I have installed teamviewer on another PC and tried to connect to it with the same result, it appears to be OK on other devices.

I have tried allowing the TeamViewer ports through our Anti-Virus software and I have completely uninstalled, ran CCleaner, rebooted, and re-installed TeamViewer to no avail.

Is anyone getting a similar issue or managed to resolve?

    Thank you for your message.

    On the devices the problem occurs, I'd recommend you to make a full uninstall and reinstall of TeamViewer.

    How to uninstall TeamViewer on PC

    Then, try to connect again.
