Locked out of account with two factor auth, recovery key not working

I am having difficulty getting back into my Teamviewer account after a year of not using it. I know the password, however the recovery key I thought was for my TeamViewer account is not working. Does anyone know of any way I can either delete my account and start fresh or confirm that I own the email address with a waiting period or something?
