Migrate Teamviewer 9 to 12

We currently use Teamviewer 9 (Corporate) with a SQL DB and Teamviewer Manager 9.  We purchased version 12 and are trying to find migration guidelines/steps.  First question:  is there only a cloud-based Management Console in Teamviewer 12?   If not, what are the server specifications and migration steps to assist us in moving from version 9 to 12?  Finally, can clients that are on version 9 be managed by a version 12 console or does the whole environment need to be migrated at the same time?
