'Password' field in Management Console does not seem to have any effect

When I go to the Team Viewer Management Console, and click on My Computers->MyDesktop->Settings wheel->Properties, I see a field called 'Password' there. Is this to configure the personal password (for unattended access)?

It does not seem to have any effect, I tried specifying a password and leaving it blank, but regardless I'm not able to use that password to login remotely. It works fine if I specify the password by right clicking the TeamViewer taskbar icon->Setup unattended access...

What is the password field in Management Console for? Screenshot attached.
