Task Bar Disappears

I am using a free personal license for TeamViewer 12 to connect between two Windows 10 computers.  I just started and note the task bar frequently disappears.  I can not get to the "Start" button or any of my launch icons on the Start menu, which is the way I launch all my frequently used programs.  Sometimes I can get it back by switch back and forth between full screen view.  But many times I have to log out of the session and restart a new session.  The Task bar does not stay very long before it disappears, so it is quite aggravating.  Does anyone know of a fix for this problem?
