Teamviewer 8 download from Teamviewer site reporting rootkit in Gmer

I downloaded version 8 from teamviewer yesterday and then noticed  during a GMER scan that there was rootkit installed. There was nothing there previously.

Is it possible the download site has infected files?

I like v 8 but I am fearful of using it or any other version at this point.
