Teamviewer background process: Is this normal?

 I noticed that Teamviewer was active as a background process in the taskmanager. I have not used Teamviewer for weeks on this computer, and in the settings I have disabled that Teamviewer should be started with Windows. I also saw in the log files for Teamviewer that it's doing a lot of stuff every day. Is this normal
