Teamviewer not running on partner computer

Having an issue remote connecting into my home PC.  I recently had to do a uninstall/re-install of the software.  I have it set for personal usage and for me to remote access that computer.  I verified that the Teamviewer icon is in the system tray.  Much like it has been in the past, and the program was working flawlessly.

Now when I attempt to reconnect I keep getting Teamviewer is not running on partner computer.  I am working remotely from home.  I called and asked my kids to check to see if my computer is on, and if the Teamviewr icon is in the system tray.  Which was a yes to both answers.  Yet I am still unable to connect to the machine.

I do not know if the uninstall missed something, or if there is something in the registry that is causing issues.  I know the teamviewer from my work computer works great because I can remote connect to other computers no problem.  Just not my own for some reason.
