TeamViewer API support for Pilot
Hi,
we'd like to integrate the use of TeamViewer Pilot in our customer care app, but the TeamViewer API doesn't mention anything about Pilot. Is this possible and if yes, where is the documentation for it? If not available, when will it be (will it ever be?) We're currently considering our commercial option and have always been very satisfied with TeamViewer, but before we buy licenses, we want to make sure this is possible.
Thanks,
Nic.

Hi Nic,
Do you want the possibility to open the Pilot app from witihn your iOS/Android app?
Or do you want to start a session (on expert side) from within your CRM, ticketing system, ...?
Best,
Andi

Hi Andi,
thanks for your reply. We would like to start up the Pilot app and retrieve the TeamViewer ID from within our app and transmit that to our service desk. This way the customer doesn't have to manually communicate their connection details with us.
I did notice that the 'share my ID' button allows to connect to other apps, this could also be an option, what do we need to do in order for that to work? The former approach is our preference, though.
We also want to support AR glasses, but sturdy industrial ones. Any hints you can share on which glasses work best with Pilot?
Thanks again,
Nic.

Hi Nic,
Thanks for getting back to us and sorry for the late reply.
There are soon different options for you to integrate with TeamViewer Pilot. Can you send a short email with your contact details to pilot@teamviewer.com? We would love to discuss the options with you on a call.
Pilot supports various AR glasses. The most robust ones are the Vuzix M400 and RealWear HMT-1.Best,

Hi Andy,
We are a small company in the remote support business and would like a solution like Nic mentioned (generate ID from our app or launch TV Pilot from our app). Do you have any solutions for us?
Thank you.
