Hi Alekig, Can you please disable the hardware acceleration in Chrome and try it again? Open Google Chrome. Click Customize and Control Google Chrome > Settings. Click on Show advanced settings and scroll to the System section. Uncheck Use hardware acceleration when available and restart Google Chrome. Cheers,

Hi ARJ, TeamVIewer cuts the connection to the internet when you set this option to "accept exclusively". Normally, TeamVIewer detects the connection when it's set to "accept". If you choose the option "deactivated", TeamViewer will not show the IP when there is no internet. Cheers,

Hi tecnoxarxa, Did you install TeamViewer through a RDP session? If yes, please uninstall TeamViewer with all options (you canf ind an option for this during the uninstall wizard). Delete also the following folders: C:\Program Files (x86)\TeamViewer and C:\Users\*username*\AppData\Roaming\TeamViewer After that, install TeamViewer directly on the machine and try it again. If you didn't install it through a RDP session, please also try a to install TeamViewer again. Cheers,

Hi imagesound, Sure - if you open the MSI manual, you can go to "4.2" - there you will find an explanation for a Service Connection Point (there is also a script for it which is included in the MSI download). The Service Connection Point will make the pop up disappear. Cheers,

Hi Lombaerts, This is a really strange behavior since the .reg file has nothing to do with the customization and cannot affect this. When the IDC code is in the name of the MSI file, TeamViewer downloads the customization (recognized by the code) through port 443 - that's why you have to make sure that port 443 is open during the installation. Is it reproducable that it only works when you make the rollout without .reg file?

Hi Lombaerts, The customization is not included in the .reg file. For the customization, you have to do the following: Important is, that you first create a customized Host module in the Management Console to get the Configuration ID. Create the Host module with the account, you want the computer to be assigned to and choose a group, in which the computer should appear. Click on "Save" and open the module again - you should now see the Configuration ID at the bottom of the window. To give the Configuration ID to the MSI package, you just have to rename the MSI file: Example with Configuration ID "1a2b3c4d" TeamViewer-idc1a2b3c4d.msi Important is the "-idc" in front of the Configuration ID. Hi Assist-Infone, For the password, do the following: In TeamViewer under "Options> Options> Advanced" you have the option to export the settings to a .reg file. If you press the button, an explorer window opens and you must first specify the path and a name. Select the path where the MSI package is stored. The name of the .reg file must be TeamViewer_Settings.reg (always case-sensitive!) After that, a TeamViewer window opens - in this, specify which options you want to export. Below you can enter a FIXED PASSWORD. Here, type in the password you want to export. What do you mean with: " - Recovered the ID with a command line for to write in a file" ? Cheers,

Hi WCVMLH, I am happy to hear that you love TeamViewer :) Please make sure that the option "Start TeamViewer with WIndows" is set. Make also sure that "Full access control when a partner is connection to the Windows logon screen" is set (in TeamViewer under 'Extras - Options-Advanced'). Best would be to install the Host module on the remote machine to make sure that TeamViewer is always running. Let me know if this helps :)

Hi dizwod, Please uninstall TeamViewer and click on "with all options" in the deinstallation wizard. After doing that, please delete the following folders on your machine: C:\Program Files (x86)\TeamViewer C:\Users\*username*\AppData\Roaming\TeamViewer Install TeamViewer again and see if it works. Hi windyLin, It is possible to connect to the Windows logon screen. Please activate the option in TeamViewer under "Extras - Options - Advanced" on the remote machine. The option's name is "Full access control when a partner is connecting to the Windows logon screen". Please make also sure, that the option "Start TeamViewer with Windows" is activated. Cheers,

Hi IonnaPersephone, You can record a TeamViewer session on your side as long as you connect to a computer (it doesn't work with mobile connections). You have two options for activating it: 1. Activate it directly in the TeamViewer options under "extras - options - remote control". The option is called "Start recording of remote control sessions automatically" - after activating this option, the record will automatically start when you connect to a machine. 2. Activate it in the TeamViewer taskbar during the connection. For this you have to establish the connection first and you can see the record button in the taskbar (at the top of the connection) on the right side, next to the Feedback-Smiley. I hope this helps. Dear ItsCheif, It is not possible to change the TeamViewer ID. Good, that you already changed the password I recommend you to activate a whitelist on the device under "extras - options - security". You can put your account on the whitelist and after doing that, the only one who can reach your machine is the account from the whitelist. Cheers,

Dear markers, Thank you for the post. 1. Unfortunately it is not possible to delege this task to other members form the company profile. Background here is, that the device has to be assigned to one account and only this account can assign a policy. I can forward this as a feature request to our product management. 2. Also the Easy Access function only works when TeamViewer is assigned to an account - that's why you see your name and the company profile in the TeamViewer options. It indicates, that this device is assigned to your account. If you work with other people ina company profile, we always recommend to create an admin account with "service@..." or "info@...." or IT@..." and assign all the devies to this account. Hi GordonP, Thanks for your answer That's correct - TeamViewer only exports in 32bit paths. If you use the import function within TeamViewer, the software recognizes that and you do not have to change the path. If you want to import the file via doubleclick, you have to change the path in the .reg file on a 64bit system. But if you use the MSI package, you do not need it since you only have to save the file in the same folder where the msi package is safed - the MSI package will detect the file and import it. You also do not need to change the paths here. Cheers,

Hi zsuraski, I really appreciate your input here and your workaround. Our development had a look at this issue together with a lot of customers who had the same problem. We also made some tests with these customers and the new option within TeamViewer was especially developed for this behavior. Our customers already confirmed during the tests, that this option will solve the problem. Dear Chroni, You can download the "Remote Control" app from the store to make outgoign connections from your Android device. When the device is in the same network as your computer, it should be possible to connect via IP address. For this please make sure that the computer accept LAN connections (extras - options - general). It is NOT possible to connect from PC to Android via IP address. Cheers,

Hi all, Thank you for your patience. Today we published a new "InsiderBuild" with a new option which should fix the problem. You can activate the InsiderBuild within TeamViewer under "extras - options - advanced" but please be aware of the fact, that InsiderBuild can contain bugs, because they are just Previews (find out more in our Knowledgebase article). When the InsiderBuild is installed you can navigate to "extras - options - advanced" until you find the new setting "Disable hardware acceleration" under "more". Please tick the option and check if you still see the black screen. This option will also be in the next official release for all people, who do not want to install the InsiderBuild.

Hi all, Thank you for your feedback in this thread. After talking to customers and users we figured out that most of the problems can be solved by installing a graphic card driver update. Not all manufacturers are yet compatible with the new Windows update but please check if there is an update for you graphic card driver. Cheers
