I've the Same issue... :( Not working the black screeen on windows 10
This seems to be the oposite of the common problem:
I'm unable to show a black screen on the computer I'm connecting to.
I can select "disable remote imput" - which works, and I can also select the "show black screen". Bu this does nothing. On the remote computer, the input is disabled but the screen shows everything.
I've also tried selecting the "enable black screen" option in the tw options on the remote computer, but when I do this the client cannot even connect to it: It hangs forever on "initializing display parameters".
Anyone got any ideas? I was about to buy a license for TW when I noticed this, and it's a complete show stopper for me. There's no official TW help to get either, since I haven't bought a license yet.
I've tried installing and reinstalling the TW monitor drivers on both machines, but TW doesn't even appear to be TRYING to black the remote screen.

I got this answer for support... And it is a great answer... But still not solving my problem "Thank you for your email and query regarding TeamViewer. The time out for inactive sessions is based on the interaction with the device (mouvements of the mouse). If you start a file transfer and 30 minutes time out is set, without mouvements of the mouse, your file transfer will be stopped after 30 minutes. We recommend to extend the delay or to remove it if you do not want to terminate your file transfers after 30 minutes. Feel free to contact us again at any time if you have further questions or queries we can assist you with. " But the problem is, I have this setting to help out that I can reconnect if I become disconnected somehow and the channel become locked... I have often been in the situation that I've lost connection because of bad connection quality or disconnected by accident. Then I've somehow managed to lock my license - channel, so I can't reconnect again. I these cases twamviwer support is alwas helpfull to fix it. But the problem is if it occurs out of working hours , and it happens... we have 24 hours service for some of our customers, so this is a problem. I know about the setting of timeout with inactive connection, but still it takes some time. Sometimes the inactive timeout is giving some problems with file transfer timing out even during filetransfer, some times i transfers up to 3,5 GB before an installation. so this may not happen. So it would be very nice with a feature there could reset the channel from command prompt or button somewhere to do that.
