I had the same problem on my Mac Pro remote computer... As soon as I'd connect to the Mac Pro, Teamviewer would quit 'unexpectedly', relaunch and crash again, perpetually and annoyingly. Apperently the problem was in "thread 11". No idea what that means but yeah, that's what it said. I was still able to control the remote computer regardless of the problem so that was a blessing. I installed Chrome Remote Desktop so I could connected to the Mac Pro from there. Then I killed all teamviewer processes in Activity Monitor, uninstalled Teamviewer, installed version 12-0-72647 and turned off automatic updates. Seems to be working for now. So thanks for the solution! Hopefully Teamviewer can address this problem with their next update, cause it would make me feel safer if I could keep Teamviewer up-to-date. BTW, the problem was on a 2013 Mac Pro and Yosemite. My 2010 Mac Pro, also Yosemite, has no trouble with the latest TV 12.0.78517.
