This is one of the worst decision I have seen in my whole life from a software company who used to treat the clients with respect. This happened without warning your customers and without giving them the opportunity to look for other solutions.
The result ?: those users will leave anyways (like me) because you consider us all cheaters. I know that is it not your fault as a forum moderator, but I cannot hide my frustration. The people who took this decision, your colleagues whoever they may be, basically buried a great product .
In any case, there was a time when TV was an absolutely indispensable product because there were not too many solutions on the market doing the same job for , I repeat (!) personal and only personal use clients.

OK, I solved the issue. As mentioned, trying to install direct the new version with Admin rights did not work for me. However, here is what worked for me. download last version of TeamViewer for Windows. Save the installation package on your desktop. Reboot computer in Safe Mode.. While in safe mode, locate and delete the folder : C:\Users\**your usernamehere**\AppData\Local\Temp\TeamViewer Install TeamViewer from the installation package you saved at #1. It should work, in any case it worked for me.
