I am not so sure I will garner the same sympathy I felt when I read your question but..... I bought the commerical version of Teamviewer 4. It works exactly the way I needed it to and still does to this day. I have zero additional requirements. Windows 7 is supported until January 17, 2020. I recieved a notice that Teamviewer 4 will not longer be supported as of December of 2017. Why? I bought Teamveiwer 4 because it was supported with Windows 7 which is still supported by Microsoft. I feel the decision to disable Teamviewer 4 is arbitrary. I rarely use Teamviewer as much as I used to. I refuse to use Windows 10 based on privacy issues and my customers are in agreement. I have yet to experience any issues that I see aired on this forum aside from the black screen, which was easily resolved by changing from a Full Screen to a Windowed screen. I see no way to justify upgrading to a newer version just because I bean counters want more money. I don't charge enough to justify a purchase to a newer version. I wish I could. If my version 4 stops working, I won't be using Teamviewer with my customers. I have a customized download on my website that end-users can download that is version 4. I hope Teamviewer resolves this issue. Did I received any sympathy?
