You can log in to your TeamViewer account via the TeamViewer (Classic) full version, the Management Console, and our mobile app for Remote Control.
For each application, the login is straightforward and protected via Multi-Factor Authentication. You can choose Authenticator App depending on your preferences.
Below you will find the guidance for each of the scenarios.
This article applies to all TeamViewer (Classic) users.
How to sign in to your TeamViewer account via the TeamViewer (Classic) client
Secured via Trusted Devices
To sign in to your TeamViewer Account via the Full version, please follow the instructions below:
- Open TeamViewer (Classic)
- Click on the user icon in the top right corner and select Sign In
- Enter your TeamViewer account credentials and press Sign In
- A pop-up informing you that a security e-mail has been sent to mark your device as a trusted device will appear. Select OK.
- Enter your e-mail inbox and open the Trusted Device e-mail.
- Click Add to trusted devices
- Open TeamViewer (Classic) again, type in your TeamViewer account password, and select Sign In.
Secured via Two-Factor Authentication
To sign in to your TeamViewer account via Two-Factor Authentication, please follow the instructions below:
- Open TeamViewer (Classic)
- Click on the user icon in the top right corner and select Sign In
- Enter your TeamViewer account credentials and press Sign In
- Open your Authentication app in which you have configured the TeamViewer Two-Factor Authentication, enter the security code, and press Sign in
How to sign in to your TeamViewer account via the Management Console
To sign in to your TeamViewer account via the Management Console, please follow the instructions below:
📌Note: In this example, Two-Factor Authentication is enabled.
- Go to https://login.teamviewer.com/
- Enter your TeamViewer account credentials and select Sign In
- Depending on the authentication method you have set up
- Validate your device as a Trusted Device or
- Enter your security code (for Two Factor Authentication) and select Submit Code
How to sign in to your TeamViewer account via the mobile app
To sign in to your TeamViewer account via the mobile app, please follow the instructions below:
📌Note: In this example, an iPhone has been recorded, and Two-Factor Authentication is enabled.
- Open TeamViewer (Classic) for Remote Control
- Go to the Computers tab
- Enter your TeamViewer account credentials and select Sign In
- Depending on the authentication method you have set up
- Validate your device as a Trusted Device or
- Enter your security code (for Two Factor Authentication) and select Submit Code
