Embed remote screen in desktop application?

I'm currently designing a desktop application (could be C#, python etc....) that needs to **embed a view of a remote machine screen** (it's a Linux medical device that already has Teamviewer installed). Note that we don't need to control the remote screen, only view it.

I found the link below which *I think* mentions a way of doing this, but I don't think the VendorExample app is available and I'm not entirely clear if this will help me deliver my request:
