Technical question on office ribbon integration

Good morning, i know that Teamviewer have one tool integrated with office ribbon buttons. My question is not on problem, but one question on office ribbon integration. I presume that yours development is on VSTO outlook addin, for created the office ribbon extensibility. In this context, is possible expose an event for other visual studio project? Obvious that external project need to have VSTO DLL reference.
