Using Teamviewer host with Social Media Account

I set up a Teamviewer account via google and installed the TeamViewer Host software on my PC. When I try to sign into the Host software, it says "This acount has been created via a social media provider. Please sign in via the associated media provider." but it doesn't provide a way to do this. What am I missing? was creating the account using Google a mistake?

I just know that all these stupid verification steps will be the downfall of teamviewer, so unnecessary changes have been made overall. Like nobody cares

To anyone else coming across this unanswered question, it seems the recommended solution for this problem is to delete your Teamviewer account and re-create it using an email address/password instead of "social media" authentication. It worked for me immediately, although it would **bleep** if you have a bunch of stuff saved in the account.
