  • The TeamViewer embedded agent now supports devices with a Wayland Weston compositor (version 14) configured with PipeWire as the secondary backend.
  • On Weston systems, it is now possible to control the embedded device using mouse and keyboard input.
  • Users can now close a service case directly from the embedded device when they believe the issue is resolved or no longer requires assistance.

Improvements

  • Administrators can now set the timeout duration, for the agent to wait for user feedback, when approving an incoming session on the embedded device.
  • On Weston systems, users no longer need complex configurations for the agent. It is sufficient to configure “EAP:Weston” for the RemoteScreenChannels setting.
