Cannot access TeamViewer

I am trying to help my elderly parents but each time they try and connect with me it says I need an upgraded account. I have the most up-to-date TeamViewer so I am confused. When I download it, each time the same thing happens saying that I don't have the most up to date app. Any suggestions?

We are sorry to hear about your experience with TeamViewer.

Since you've tried updating it several times, let´s clean up your PC. Please uninstall TeamViewer by following the steps described in this article: Uninstall TeamViewer. Then go to our website and download the latest version available

It´s also important to verify that both sides of the connection have the same version. This means your parents, too. If so, log in with your TeamViewer credentials (email and password) and try connecting again with them.
