Windows Update Alerts - alerting on optional updates

Hi,

It appears that the monitoring is alerting us when there are optional updates available not just the required updates on windows server. Even when these updates are checked 'SKIP' in windows it still shows an alert for the server.

Is there a fix for this ?

Thanks for the post and feedback. If the Update check needs to be improved to allow users to select between normal Window update and important windows updates then we will definitely add this option. 

Could you tell us please if this is happening often with new Windows updates or it is from time to time?  So far we did not have customers requesting this behaviour.
