Activar teamviewer-host en ubuntu 18.04 sin interfaz grafica

al activar teamviewer (solo descargué e instalé) teamviewer-host me da el siguiente error:

cfiedler@ubucfstr:~$ teamviewer

Launching TeamViewer GUI ...
Aborted (core dumped)

al no haber interfaz gráfica (se trata de Ubuntu Server) no debiera activarse el teamviewer GUI

El servidor Ubuntu tiene una GUI, pero debe habilitarla instalándola.

Después de instalarlo, inicia sesión en el servidor, ejecuta el comando xstart y aparece la GUI.

The Ubuntu server has a GUI, but you must enabled it by installing it.

After installing it, you log in to server, run the xstart command and the GUI appears!!
