File Selections and Exclusions Conflicting

Hello!

I want to backup Outlook's PST files without backing up all of the other junk in the AppData folder. I created a policy as:
File selection
C:\Users\
C:\Users\*\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook\
C:\Users\*\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Outlook\
Exclusions
C:\Users\*\AppData\

Because of the exclusion nothing in AppData gets backed up, including the selected Outlook data folder. I could be more specific and create a policy for each user, but looking to make it more automated than that. It seems like exclusions take priority over the selctions and if it were the other way around something like this wouldn't be any problem. Or how about allowing regular expressions to specify what to backup? I suppose this is more of a feature request now, but if someone has a solution, please let me know.
