Slower connections getting unusable

I just tried to connect to someone. Both of us are on 100 nbn and have good modems. After connecting I recieved a single picture that didn't update. My clipboard went through and so did my mouse movements but the screen on my end didn't refresh at all. I treid reconnecting and it gave me a picture stripes that showed maybe half of the picture. It just didn't want to update at all.
I was using it the other day for another friend and it was giving me maybe a single picture every 2 seconds.
I don't understand why teamviewer is refusing to update the picture and it has clearly gotten so bad that now it is unusable. I have had nothing but 1 problem after another lately and ONLY with teamviewer. Nothing else on my system has had any issues.
